Job Title: Soft Landscape Supervisor

Reports To: Head of Soft Landscaping

Location: Various Sites, London Based

Please note this role is on a self-employed basis only.

Our client is looking for passionate and motivated Soft Landscape Supervisors to join a new department, working on some of the largest and most prestigious landscaping projects throughout London.

Key Accountabilities

â?¢ Ensuring that all soft landscaping work is correctly and efficiently carried out.

â?¢ Liaising with other members of the construction teams to coordinate activities on projects.

â?¢ Using drawings to accurately create landscaping schemes.

â?¢ Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met across all activities and where required ensure RAMS are in place and up to date.

â?¢ Organised and proactive with good planning skills.

â?¢ Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude.

â?¢ The ability to be flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Knowledge/Technical:

â?¢ CSCS card.

â?¢ Proven horticultural knowledge and abilities.

â?¢ Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental issues relevant to the project environment.

â?¢ You should have knowledge of plants and best horticultural practice.

â?¢ CPCS â?? Dumper, excavator, telehandler desirable

Behavioural Skills:

â?¢ Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

â?¢ Excellent interpersonal skills, you will be liaising with clients and designers so this is a key skill.

â?¢ Enthusiasm and drive to develop a career in the landscape industry.

Previous Experience:

â?¢ Experience with irrigation systems and water features.

â?¢ Sufficient experience required in construction

â?¢ Experience in handling and planting of large treeâ??s
