Our client is looking for highly motivated and ambitious junior sales advisor to join their growing sales team. They are one of the largest producers of hardy ornamental nursery stock and field trees in the UK.

In total their nursery sites total over 550 acres of land - multi-site. They have a large workforce and pride themselves on high levels of staff retention with many members of staff having over 20 years of continuous service.  

You will join a small, dedicated sales team reporting directly to the sales manager. Working with the team you will assist with a range of duties from contacting potential new customers across the UK. Assisting with the on boarding process to looking after existing customer accounts to ensure all their customers are served to the highest standard. Travel within the UK and Europe may be required as part of your role.

Your working hours will be Mon to Fri, 0800 to 1700 with standard breaks.

Qualifications and skills.

The most important factor is a willingness to learn and ambition to succeed, however the ideal candidate would have:

• Background or qualifications in professional horticulture and good plant knowledge.
• Background or experience in sales (beneficial but not essential)
• Communication and listening skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage complex workloads.
• Proficient use of MS Office and an ability to learn new computer systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
