Our Iver based client is looking for a Head Gardener to join their team.

 

They currently have multiple high-end estates that require a head gardener to over see our teams. This a hands-on role and you will be reposonible for up to 4/5 large horticulturally challenging gardens.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of small teams
  • Mowing & lawn maintenance
  • Strimming & hedging
  • Pruning
  • Ground preparation
  • Shrub and tree planting
  • Seasonal planting
  • Planter and window box preparation and planting
  • Seed and bulb planting
  • Pond maintenance
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification

  • Knowledge in landscaping and practical experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively
  • Relevant qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping
  • PA1/PA6
