The Aftercare Supervisor is an exciting role within a very well establish landscaping company.

You will be communicative, conscientious and experienced in garden maintenance. Most importantly, you will be enthusiastic to manage your team members and nurture excellent client relationships.

You will be working on a diverse mix of projects in some of the most desirable locations in London and the Home Counties. From their own landscape designs to high-profile designer projects and private spaces, you will be working in both domestic and commercial spaces, from small gardens and roof terraces to London squares and large country gardens.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will organise aftercare rounds by drawing up rotas to ensure our service is delivered as efficiently as it can be
  • You will occasionally pick up tools and work with staff when needed
  • You will visit sites regularly to check on our standards of work
  • You will meet with clients, listening to their needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • You will order materials and plants to ensure staff have the equipment they need, as well as ordering seasonal planting for clients
  • You will assist the managers with administration and monthly invoicing
  • You will ensure the department always has the right staff to run profitably, organising holiday and sickness cover, assisting with staff recruitment and dealing with any HR issues promptly and professionally
  • You will carry out regular appraisals with your staff
  • You will effectively manage and communicate with your team
  • You will work efficiently to tight deadlines, whilst keeping to health and safety and quality procedures

  • You will arrive promptly for work and keep any appointments you make
  • You will join in with our company events and socials where possible, helping to build relationships with team members

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • You will have at least 5 years of experience in aftercare, with 3 of those in a team leader or foreman role
  • You will have strong communication skills, as you will need to provide great customer service, as well as being able to listen and effectively communicate with clients, staff and managers
  • And ideally you will have a full clean driving license, with experience in van driving
