  Horticulture Sales Advisor - Office based 

  Our Client is looking for someone with strong tree and shrub knowledge (not necessarily with nursery experience) who will work as part of a team utilising there knowledge to assist our extensive and varied customer base as well as developing new clients. This is an office based role which may require some European travel.

 Key responsibilities include:

 Communicating about trees and shrubs and issuing quotations to customers

• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships and understanding individual needs
• Building relationships with suppliers in Europe
• Processing customer orders, and choosing stock from the nursery
• Escorting clients around the nursery
• Understanding the logistics required for each job and communicating this to all parties
• Working with the stock control system (Growmaster) experience not essential, and supporting other staff as and when required.

 Key Attributes

 Have a keen interest in horticulture with excellent tree and shrub knowledge

• Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
• Be self-motivated
• Be organised and effective
• Able to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball
• Passionate about customer service
• Computer literate with good MS Office capabilities
• Clean Driving Licence

 

Hours â?? Mon-Fri 8.00am to 5.30pm, during busy periods you may be required to work outside these hours.

Salary â?? up to £30,000 depending on experience

Holiday â?? 24 days + Bank Holidays
