Our client seeks a an experienced Maintenance Gardener to join their mobile team. Based within M25.

You will report to the Director of Aftercare. This post allows progression into Aftercare Management.

As a long established award winning company, our client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance foreman to join thier expanding organisation, working in some of the most desirable locations in London and the Home Counties.

You will be part of a knowledgeable and friendly team working on an interesting mix of small gardens, courtyards, roof terraces, London squares and large country gardens. With a mix of own build, high profile designer projects and private spaces in both domestic and commercial sectors.

You would be required to work to tight deadlines in an efficient manner. You would be expected to uphold the company values at all times.

Key Responsibilities Duties will include
At least 3 years experience in gardening. With 2 of those in a team leader/foreman role.

Full clean driving license (previous van driving experience essential).

Excellent working knowledge of plants, their requirements and ability to recognise disorders and treat problems.

A basic knowledge of irrigation systems.

Ability to use a range of small machinery.

Great customer service skills.

Staff management skills.

Ability to listen and effectively communicate between clients, staff and managers.

Qualified to at least Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. RHS. National Diploma etc.)

PA1/PA6 Personal Management

You are expected to arrive promptly for work and keep appointments when made. Emails should be filed regularly and responded to in an efficient and professional manner. The company expect all staff to join in with company events and socials where possible to help build relationships with fellow team members and to build team morale.
