Our client is seeking a talented Landscape Foreman, to join the business at a time of exciting expansion. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of landscaping, include setting out from plans, groundworks, paving, wall construction, carpentry, horticultural works and have strong experience in the creation of modern gardens. Working under a Contracts Manager, the Landscape Foreman will be responsible for:

  • Setting out of the site including site maths and accurate measurements
  • Material and tool care and  general site maintenance
  • Brickwork, natural stone paving, block paving, fire pits & driveways
  • Decking, steps and terraces
  • Fencing, gazebos & screens
  • Concreting and screeding
  • Wood framing
  • Site maintenance, tool care and upkeep
  • Ensure H&S and PPE is correct
  • Training and development of the Labourer/s beneath
  • Management of the team including rotas, sickness and holidays
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries
  • Organise any sub-contractors.
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager on the critical path for the project

 The perfect candidate for this role will have bags of experience in the areas listed above. Youâ??ll have a strong track record in managing a team, and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with a range of partners, suppliers and both domestic and commercial clients. Youâ??ll need a full clean driving licence and current CSCS card.
