Our client is expanding and have exciting opportunities for Experienced Landscape Operatives to join their teams throughout London.

They seek supervisors and people ready to step up into supervisory roles, therefore that are keen to speak to people of various levels of experience. Immediate starts are available, pending a successful interview.

The company mainly focuses on Soft Landscaping but they're looking for people to lead small teams carrying out hard & soft landscaping installations in accordance with project specifications, CDM requirements and the companies own Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental procedures, statutory requirements and industry best practice.

You will report directly to the Manager and will work a 40-hour week, with the occasional weekend required to cover deadlines.

To be successful with your application you should meet the following requirements:

  • Absolute minimum of 3 years of landscaping experience.
  • Horticulture qualifications desirable, but not essential.
  • PA1 and PA6 desirable, but not essential.
  • Full clean UK driving licence desirable, but not essential.
  • Clean records, CRB check will be undertaken.
  • Good communication skills essential.
  • Good ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent time keeper, ability to multi task and work in challenging environments to deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, with good attitude and willingness to work.
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Have a good understanding of English.
  • CSCS Card essential.
  • SSSTS would be an advantage.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Deliver a high quality of workmanship covering mainly soft landscaping.
  • Provide a responsive and professional service to customers.
  • Be the main point of contact on site.
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and operations manager in regards to materials/labour needed on site.
  • Carry out all works in accordance with company Health, Safety & Environmental policies & procedures; as well as contract-specific Construction Phase Plans, Job Sheets, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Ensure that any unsatisfactory performance identified is immediately corrected to meet expected standards and requirements.
  • Carry out all duties in a manner and style that reflects the Groups values and respects all colleagues and customers.
